IPS Navjot Simi’s husband’s name is Tushar Singla who is also an IAS officer of the 2015 batch. They got married on 14th February 2020 in a very private ceremony.
After clearing UPSC CSE 2017, Navjot Simi was allocated Bihar Cadre for the IPS, and Tushar Singla, IAS was the IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. But after their marriage, Tushar changed his cadre to Bihar and now this civil servant couple is working in Bihar.

She always wanted to become a doctor. So after the 12th she appeared for a pre-medical test and got a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery). She completed her BDS from Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College Hospital And Research Institute, Ludhiana. After completing her BDS, she wanted to do MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) but due to her financial condition, she was not able to pay the fee for MDS.
After completing her BDS, she also started preparing for the competitive examination. She also wanted to be a civil servant. So to prepare for the UPSC CSE, she moved to Delhi to take coaching for the UPSC CSE. After one year she gave her first attempt for the UPSC CSE and failed in this attempt. But in her second attempt, she was able to become an IPS officer. Her journey is very inspirational for new UPSC aspirants.
