But in 2020, in her third attempt, she cleared the UPSC CSE with AIR 106 and became an IAS officer.
She had given the UPSC exam in the year 2020. During this period, there were curfew-like situations in many places. She had prepared for the UPSC exam through self-study. In such a situation, the hotel staff somehow took Kriti Raj to the exam center.
She was able to reach the center only 10 minutes before the start of the exam. She cleared this exam and became an IAS officer of the 2021 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
