Due to getting all India rank 384 in the UPSC CSE, he got the post of Assistant Commandant in CISF (this post was available in the UPSC CSE at that time, but now it’s not available in the UPSC CSE). But here he was declared medically unfit. He had the problem of knock knee and partially flat foot.
Due to being medically unfit for the post of Assistant Commandant, he got the Central Secretariat Service (CSS) and due to this service, he also worked for 1 year in the Hindi department in the home ministry. But after working for one year, he resigned from this post.
He always wanted to become an IAS officer. But in the first attempt, he could not become an IAS officer due to the low ranking. So he gave his second attempt and failed in the mains.
At this time, along with the preparation for the UPSC CSE, he also used to teach Hindi Literature. Similarly, he gave his third attempt. But he failed in the interview even in his third attempt.
By the time he gave his third attempt, his coaching business had also been established and he was earning a good amount of money from it.
